9/30/2004 - Special Called Meeting
September 30, 2004
Chairman Shaw called the meeting to order.
Chairman Shaw gave the invocation and led the Pledge of Allegiance.
Commissioner Allen made a motion to approve the warrants. Commissioner Oliver seconded the motion. The motion passed unanimously.
Commissioner Allen made a motion to approve the S&W maintenance contracts. Commissioner Oliver seconded the motion. The motion passed unanimously.
Commissioner Allen made a motion to amend the 2003-2004 budget to include line items that were added late. Commissioner Oliver seconded the motion. The motion passed unanimously.
Commissioner Oliver made a motion to approve the 2004-2005 budget. Commissioner Allen seconded the motion. The motion passed unanimously. Attachment.
County Engineer, David Moore, addressed the Commission concerning phone negotiations for the rock bid. Commissioner Allen made a motion to award the bid to SRM Aggregates. Commissioner Oliver seconded the motion. The motion passed unanimously. Attachment.
County Administrator, Annette McGrady, stated that the new personnel manuals are in. Employees should sign the manuals and return the signed sheet to the Commission Office.
McGrady also stated that the applications for new hire are in. McGrady requested that all department heads use the applications when hiring someone.
Commissioner Allen made a motion to adjourn. Commissioner Oliver seconded the motion. The motion passed unanimously. Meeting adjourned at 10:00 a.m.
