The Tallapoosa County Commission reconvened its regularly scheduled meeting of September 9, 2013 on September 30, 2013 at the courthouse in Dadeville, Alabama at 9:00 a.m.
Chairperson Thweatt called the meeting to order.
Blake Beck gave the invocation.
Chairperson Thweatt led the Pledge of Allegiance.
Chairperson Thweatt called roll. Commissioners Robinson, Tapley, Thweatt, and Holt were present. Commissioner Coley was absent.

Commissioner Tapley made a motion to pass the proposed FY2014 budget adding $20,000.00 for the Volunteer Fire Departments to be paid from the discretionary fund at the rate of $1,000.00 per quarter per Commissioner. Commissioner Robinson seconded the motion. The motion passed unanimously. See attachment.
Commissioner Holt made a motion to approve a special event alcohol license for the Spring House restaurant. Commissioner Robinson seconded the motion. The motion passed unanimously. See attachment.
