January 11, 2010
The Tallapoosa county Commission held its regularly scheduled meeting on January 11, 2010 at the courthouse in Dadeville, Alabama at 9:00 a.m.
Chairman Tapley called the meeting to order.
Commissioner Shaw gave the invocation.
Chairman Tapley led the Pledge of Allegiance.
Chairman Tapley called roll. All Commissioners were present.

Consent Agenda
Commissioner Thweatt made a motion to approve the minutes of the December 14, 2009 meeting. Commissioner Coley seconded the motion. The motion passed unanimously. See attachment.
Commissioner Shaw made a motion to approve the warrants and purchase orders. Commissioner Coley seconded the motion. The motion passed unanimously. See attachment.
Commissioner Shaw made a motion to approve a mileage rate reimbursement of .50 per mile. Commissioner Coley seconded the motion. The motion passed unanimously. See attachment.
Commissioner Allen made a motion to approve the transfer of sick leave. Commissioner Thweatt seconded the motion. The motion passed unanimously. See attachment.
Commissioner Allen made a motion to approve to seek bids for cars for the Sheriff’s department. Commissioner Thweatt seconded the motion. The motion passed unanimously.
Commissioner Shaw made a motion to approve the plat for Willow Glynn Phase 1A. Commissioner Coley seconded the motion. The motion passed unanimously. See attachment.
Commissioner Allen made a motion to approve Commissioner Thweatt as the Chairperson effective February 1, 2010. Commissioner Shaw seconded the motion. Commissioner Coley made a motion to amend the motion to also approve Commissioner Allen as the Vice Chairman. Commissioner Thweatt seconded the motion. The motion passed unanimously.
