Special Called Meeting

November 5, 2007

The Tallapoosa County Commission held a Special Called Meeting on November 5, 2007 at the Courthouse in Dadeville, Alabama at 9:00 a.m.. Tallapoosa Publishers was present.

Chairman Allen called the meeting to order.

Commissioner Tapley gave the invocation.

Chairman Allen led the Pledge of Allegiance.

Chairman Allen called roll. All Commissioners were present.

Commissioner Tapley made a motion to approve a resolution to move polling places Beat 1 Box 3 from Alexander City Methodist Church to Cooper Recreation Center and Beat 3 Box 1 from Alexander City Methodist Church to Hillabee Baptist Church. Commissioner Coley seconded the motion. The motion passed unanimously.

Commissioner Shaw made a motion to approve a resolution to move polling places Beat 15 Boxes 1 and 2 from the City of Camp Hill to Mount Lovely Baptist Church and Beat 2 Box 1 from Friendship Baptist Church to Ourtown Volunteeer Fire Department. Commissioner Thweatt seconded the motion. The motion passed unanimously.

Commissioner Coley made a motion to approve guarantee of short term financing from Sejin. Commissioner Thweatt seconded the motion. The motion passed. Commissioner Coley, Commissioner Shaw, Commissioner Thweatt and Commissioner Allen voted in favor of the motion. Commissioner Tapley voted no.

Commissioner Tapley made a motion to adjourn the meeting. Commissioner Shaw seconded the motion. The motion passed unanimously.
